Who publishes this directory?

Browsing, filters and comparison

The directory has no visitor accounts, enquiry forms, payment form or application system. Filtering and comparison run in your browser using the public catalogue. The app does not ask for a diagnosis, falls history, personal home address, identity documents or payment details.

The shortlist stores up to three listing IDs in your browser’s localStorage under homeadapt-us-shortlist-v1, where storage is available. These IDs can persist across visits on that browser and origin. They are not submitted to the directory or providers. Use “Clear shortlist” on the comparison page to remove saved listing IDs; an empty storage entry may remain. Your browser’s site-data controls can delete the entry entirely. Blocking storage may stop the shortlist persisting between pages or visits.

Public work, state and role filters can appear in the page URL. Free-text search stays in page memory: the app does not add it to the URL or localStorage. If you arrive with search words already in a URL, the initial request may reach the host before the app removes that query. Do not put private information into search words or URLs.

“Copy profile links” uses the clipboard only when you press it and the browser permits access. “Print comparison” opens the browser’s print function. These actions can create copies on your own device or in a destination you choose.

Hosting and technical request data

The public website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Requests to load pages and assets pass through Cloudflare, which can process technical information such as IP address, browser information, request URL, time and security-related data to deliver and protect the service. Filters included in a URL can therefore be part of a hosting request. Cloudflare controls its own service processing and retention; see Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.

Cookies, advertising, analytics and ownership checks

This release does not add advertising or analytics scripts, tracking pixels, embedded maps, external fonts or social widgets. The directory’s code does not set cookies. Cloudflare’s hosting or security services may use service-related cookies under its own policies. Optional advertising and analytics remain disabled. If these services are added later, this notice and any required privacy and consent controls must be updated before activation.

Passive Google ownership meta tags may be added for AdSense and Search Console verification. Such tags are text in the page head; they do not themselves load advertising or analytics scripts. Google’s crawlers can fetch public pages to verify ownership and assess or index the site. Search visibility, AdSense review and approval are separate external decisions.

External providers, sources and email

Provider and source links leave this website only when you follow them. Those services have their own privacy terms. Links do not submit a directory enquiry. Public provider profiles can include people’s professional names and attributed qualifications from the cited sources; they do not establish current credentials or who will attend a project.

If you email us, the email services involved process your address, message, attachments and normal email metadata. Our contact mailbox uses Proton Mail; see Proton Mail’s Privacy Policy. Correspondence may be kept while needed to answer, investigate a correction or retain a necessary record; no fixed retention period is promised. Ask about access, correction or deletion by email. Requests are assessed in context and may be subject to applicable recordkeeping obligations.

Your choices

You can browse without saving a shortlist, clear saved IDs, delete browser site data, avoid optional external links and choose what you send by email. Downloading the public catalogue saves the dated public data to your device. Contact us about privacy questions or a specific published item; applicable privacy rights depend on the circumstances.
